Aasmaan Foundation Work Experience

Introduction :

Hey guys,

I’m sharing my personal work experience as an intern into an NGO named as Aasmaan Foundation. Joining the Aasmaan Foundation was a watershed event in my professional journey. The Aasmaan Foundation, which is well-known for its dedication to orphaned children’s education and the well-being of bereaved moms, provided me with the chance to make a meaningful difference. As a trainee, I was given a range of daily tasks, such as promotion, forwarding, and aiding with the recruitment process.

This hands-on experience was more than simply a job; it was a mission to help and inspire people in need.

Early Days: Learning and Growing

During my first days at Aasmaan Foundation, my major task was to promote the organization’s activities and goals. This included reaching out to potential contributors, volunteers, and partners via social media campaigns, email outreach, and community events. Each day presented new hurdles, but my feeling of purpose kept me motivated. I learnt how to create appealing communications that spoke to our audience and emphasised the essential job we were doing.

Another important component of my duty was forwarding. This involved ensuring that all communication and documentation reached the proper departments and persons in an expedient manner. This activity may appear to be ordinary, but it taught me the value of precise and timely communication inside a social welfare organisation.

Furthermore, I contributed to the recruiting process by evaluating individuals and scheduling interviews. This offered me a better knowledge of the traits and talents required to operate in the NGO sector. It was fantastic to have new team members join us, each bringing new enthusiasm and ideas to help us further our purpose.

The Promotion: Stepping Up as Assistant Supervisor

Following months of hard work, I was promoted to Assistant Supervisor. This new position came with increased responsibility and the ability to supervise the work of other team members. Managing other members’ data and maintaining thorough records became part of my everyday routine.

As Assistant Supervisor, I had to guarantee that each team member’s efforts were in line with the NGO’s aims. This necessitated a strong eye for detail and exceptional organisational abilities. I created processes to monitor progress, document accomplishments, and identify areas for growth. It was great to observe how these solutions streamlined our processes and increased our overall efficiency.

Conducting training sessions for new recruits was one of the most rewarding aspects of my position as Assistant Supervisor. Sharing my skills and experience with beginners was really rewarding. It also helped me to improve my leadership abilities and create a collaborative work atmosphere in which everyone felt respected and driven.

Impact and Reflection:

Working with the Aasmaan Foundation has been a transformative experience. It has not only improved my professional abilities, but also strengthened my sensitivity and devotion to social problems. Every girl we assisted in becoming self-sufficient and every kid we helped educate served as evidence of our teamwork. When I think back on my transition from trainee to assistant supervisor, I can see how much my emotional and professional development has occurred. The knowledge gained and the connections made with recipients and colleagues are priceless.

  • Time management and organisation: Having to handle several responsibilities on a daily basis has made me see how important these abilities are. Meticulous planning and prioritisation were necessary to balance recruitment duties, promotional efforts, and eventually supervisory responsibilities. These abilities have increased my general productivity and efficiency and are priceless.

Organising team events and training sessions for new hires helped me refine my leadership approach, which emphasises cooperation, inspiration, and helpful criticism.
