Accenture Interview Experience for ASE

Recently, Accenture came to our campus for the role of ASE (Associate Software Engineer). There were a total of 4 rounds, I provide the description of each round as per my experience.

Round 1 (Cognitive Assessment and Technical Proficiency):

  • Rigorous test of aptitude, analytical thinking, and technical skills.
  • 90 minutes for 90 multiple-choice questions.
  • Domains covered: aptitude, analytical reasoning, and English language skills.
  • The pseudocode section assessed code-analysis skills.
  • Technical MCQs on MS Office, cloud computing, and networking.

Tips:

  • Regular practice for aptitude and analytical sections.
  • Familiarize yourself with basic coding concepts.
  • Bring necessary ID cards.

Round 2 (Coding Challenge):

  • 45 minutes to solve two coding questions.
  • Proficiency in data structures and algorithms is crucial.
  • Difficulty levels vary thorough preparation in basic DSA concepts is essential.

Round 3 (Communication Assessment):

  • Evaluated reading comprehension, listening, speaking, and timely responses.
  • Maintain a quiet environment and stable internet connection.

Round 4 (HR Interview):

  • Showcase personality and suitability for the role.
  • Focused on final year project and general knowledge (e.g., cricket, chess, current affairs).
  • Highlighted achievements and problem-solving skills.
