Accenture Interview Experience (On-Campus) 2023

Embarking on the journey from college to corporate life is a thrilling adventure, and securing an on-campus interview with Accenture adds a layer of excitement. I recently had the opportunity to go through the Accenture on-campus interview process, and I want to share my experience to aid others in preparing for a similar path. Beginner for Beginner played a crucial role in my preparation, providing the resources needed to conquer the challenges.

Roles offered by Accenture:

  • Associate Software Engineer
  • Advanced Associate Software Engineer

Round-1 :

Stage – 1 (Cognitive and Technical Assessment): This is an elimination round. You are required to meet their sectional and sub-sectional cut-off to proceed ahead in the recruitment process. There will be 90 minutes to answer 90 questions.

  • Topics: English Ability, Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Common Applications and MS Office, Pseudocode, Fundamentals of Networking, Security and Cloud.
  • Results of this stage will be displayed on the assessment browser within 5 to 10 minutes, post-completion of this round.

Stage -2 (Coding Assessment): On clearing stage 1, you must start coding assessment and the score will be considered from this round. You will get 45 minutes to complete 2 coding questions. This is also an elimination round.

  • Note: Beginner for Beginner coding practice section became my training ground for the Coding Challenge. Regular practice not only sharpened my coding skills but also exposed me to a variety of problem-solving scenarios. The platform’s well-structured problems, complete with explanations, provided invaluable insights that proved beneficial during this round.

Round – 2 ( Communication Assessment ) :

Upon clearing stage 2, mail will be received regarding the communication round. This is an AI-based round.

  • Reading – 8 sentences
  • Repeat – 16 sentences
  • Questions – 24 Questions
  • Sentence Build – 10 jumbling
  • Story Retelling – 3 short/small stories
  • Open Questions – 2 Questions
  • Note: This assessment will be active from X day, 9:00:00 AM to Y day, 11:59:00 PM.

Round – 3 ( Technical & HR Interview ) :

After the communication assessment, a mail pops up to block the interview slot. This is the elimination round which plays a crucial role in the recruitment process. My interviewer asked the following questions:

  • Tell me about yourself
  • Briefly explain about project
  • Do you like to work alone or with a team and why
  • Did you face any difficulties with team members during the project
  • Did anyone help to achieve better results during the project
  • Are you a team leader or a team player
  • Least favourite subject
  • Unforgettable moment in your life
  • And he asked if I had any questions for him
  • Note: Be confident and active while answering the questions.
