Accenture Interview Experience (On-Campus) 2023

This is an On-campus internship drive that took place in our college by Accenture. It consisted of mainly 4 rounds.

Round-1 (Aptitude, Reasoning): This was an online test that consisted of questions from all domains such as Verbal reasoning, quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, etc. It comprised 90 questions with a time limit of 90 minutes. One with good practice of aptitude questions can easily crack this round. This was an elimination round.

Round-2 (Coding): Candidates qualifying in round-1 were eligible for this assessment (the result of round-1 was declared immediately after the completion of the round). This round consisted of 2 coding questions of easy and moderate difficulty with a time duration of 45 minutes. The first question was based on array implementation and required basic knowledge about sorting algorithms. The second question was a bit moderate level, it was based on Dynamic Programming (remember, command on DP is a must to ace technical interviews and online tests). I solved both questions and was shortlisted for the next round. This was an elimination round.

Round-3 (Communication): This round was based on English Speaking proficiency and thinking ability. I was asked some basic questions related to general awareness and had to answer them within a given time duration. This was an easy round and also a non-elimination round.

Round-4 (Technical and HR Interview): Here comes the part where most candidates get stuck, the interview. My experience was a bit similar too as this was my first corporate interview and had a lot of questions and anxiety in my head. I joined the meet and then we started off with our introductions. As they say, a good and confident start is the key to excel in the interview. I introduced myself and then I was bombarded with a lot of questions on my projects. I calmed myself a bit, and luckily the interviewer was too good as well, he made me comfortable and then we began. I tried to answer questions related to well known STAR method which worked for me as well. As I belong to a non-CS or non-Circuital branch, I was asked some basic questions about my branch as well, e.g. What is my most and least favourite subject and why? and so on. At last, I was about some of the extracurricular activities I mentioned in my resume. Overall, the interview went in a flow and ended on a good note.

It’s been a week and finally happy to see my name on the list of final shortlisted candidates. I would just say to regularly practice aptitude questions as they’ll definitely help out in saving time and getting an upper hand against your competitors. Good Luck and Happy Coding.
