Selection Process:

1. Online Assessment:

  • Consisted of two coding questions and a work simulation.
  • Coding questions ranged from easy to medium difficulty.
  • Work simulation tested my ability to handle different scenarios that might arise in the workplace.

2. Technical Round:

  • The interviewer focused on my resume, asking about past projects and internship experiences.
  • Then asked a DSA question, which I had to solve on a shared document.
  • The interviewer was supportive and offered guidance when needed.
  • Lasted around 45 minutes.

3. Behavioral Round:

  • Asked questions about Amazon’s leadership principles and how I would handle certain situations.
  • Preparation involved studying Amazon’s core values and reflecting on personal experiences.
  • Focused on clear communication and showing how my values aligned with the company’s.
  • This round lasted 30 minutes.

After about a week, I received an email informing me that I was selected for the position! I couldn’t believe my dream of working at Amazon was coming true.

Additional Insights:

  • My journey involved networking and speaking with current employees to learn about the company culture.
  • I attended mock interviews with friends and mentors to improve my confidence.
  • Demonstrating my passion for innovation and problem-solving was crucial in connecting with the interviewers.

Overall, the process was challenging but rewarding, and I’m excited to embark on a new chapter in my career.
