Solution:

LHS = (x + y) + z

(x + y) + z = (1 + 15) + 2 = 16 + 2 = 18

RHS = x + (y + z)

⇒ x + (y + z) = 1 + (15 + 2) = 1 + 17 = 18

⇒ (x + y) + z = x + (y + z)

Thus, LHS = RHS

Solution:
