Coding Connoisseurs Interview Experience For A Content Writer
In December of 2023, I had a remarkable interview for a content writer position with Coding Connoisseurs, the most reputable coding club at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FoET), University of Lucknow. Well known for creating a community of inspired coders who share knowledge and move their technical skills to a new level, this club was the appropriate choice for me and my educational needs.
The First Round: First Impression
On December 12, 2023, we convened the first round of the interview process. This elimination round was conducted by our seniors, who were current members of Coding Connoisseurs. Their role was to evaluate our experience and skills relevant to the position. Being a content writer for w3wiki, I had some articles published and went through scrutiny by the panel.
The discussion during this interview revolved around my writing process in detail, the types of articles that I had written, and how accuracy and clarity were achieved in the articles. This step not only my ability to create engaging content but also my articulation skills which I used to explain sophisticated coding topics in an easy-to-understand manner. I highlighted my method of unravelling a complex subject matter into more manageable parts that can be grasped easily.
Result Announcement: Being in the Final Round.
December 16, 2023, came as the day when, after almost four days of waiting around, the results of the first round were made public. I was thrilled to know that I had navigated this segment and reached the final stage of the process in selection.
The Final Round: An Overarching Assessment
The last interview round was arranged on 21st December 2023. This round was more intense, having a panel that consisted of both the team leads of Coding Connoisseurs and the club administrator. The main purpose of this round was to evaluate if we were able to apply what we learned by coding ourselves and having a sound base in the different programming languages even as content writers.
To evaluate my skills, the panel of interviewers asked various questions related to my experience with coding, methods of problem-solving, and working with different programming languages. I needed to implement my coding skills on real tasks and describe my reasoning for the solutions applied and the results obtained in detail. This round was difficult for me because it covered technical points in addition to my ability to explain things to people in a simple way.
Final Result Announcement: Being on the Team
On December 23, 2023, came the announcement of the results. It was a moment of pure euphoria when I came to know that I was one of the content writers for Coding Connoisseurs. The attainment of this award served to demonstrate the outcome of a demanding yet satisfying interview procedure.

The interview with Coding Connoisseurs was a significant experience with multiple outcomes: the first being that it not only tested my skills but also greatly contributed to my professional growth.
