CSS grid-column-start Property
The grid-column-start
property in CSS specifies the starting column line on which an item will be placed within a grid container. This property offers flexibility, allowing items to start from various column lines. Notably, a value of span
followed by a number allows an item to start from a specific column and span across multiple columns within the same grid track.
Syntax:
grid-column-start: auto |span n | column-line;
Default Value: auto
Property Values:
auto: A keyword specifying that the property contributes nothing to the grid item’s placement. The Default value, the item will be placed following the flow
Syntax:
grid-column-start: auto;
