Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Lucknow was established in the year 1984. The institute offers courses at the UG (B. Tech) and PG level (MCA, MBA, M. Tech), and admission to these courses will be done on the basis of the student’s performance in the national-level/state-level examinations(CUET AND JEE). Institute of Engineering and Technology Lucknow also has a placement cell that provides training to the students for a better future. Needy and deserving students can also avail of the AICTE scholarships. IET Lucknow is accredited by the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, U.P., Lucknow.
PLACEMENT EXPERIENCE :
College offers a good placement with an average package of 7LPA. All the fields ie Tech, non-tech, as well as core placement scenarios, hold well. The highest package offered this year is 22lpa on campus. The highest package offered in a core company is 14LPA ON CAMPUS.
The placement is very good in this college. More than 20 companies have visited this college till now and more than 150 students are a placed with good CTC. TCS, Genpact, HCL, and Hansa are some of the companies visited recently.

IET Lucknow Campus Life and Facilities 2024:
IET Lucknow Campus is spread over an area of 100 acres and was developed by Uttar Pradesh Rajkiya Nirman Nigam Ltd. The institute’s campus consists of Administrative Blocks, Academic Blocks, Hostels, and nearly 100 residences for Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff Members.
Hostels: The hostels of IET Lucknow are based inside the campus itself. With a total of 8 boys hostels and 4 girls hostels, the accommodation capacity is around 2000 students. The hostels have their air-conditioned mess which is managed by the student representatives. Amenities provided includes TV, Purifiers, Coolers, Geyser, and facilities for Indoor Games. The hostels provide geyser facilities only in winter and power generally lasts for 23-24 hours in the winter and 22 hours in the summer, every day. Every room has a 3-student room capacity, but generally, 4 students reside together, with Ramanujan Hostel being the top-rated one.
College Fests: IET Lucknow’s annual cultural and literary fest is “Encore” and is organized every year. This fest invites students from various colleges in Northern India and provides a platform for co-curricular activities. The Annual Sports and Games Fest “Shauryotsava”, and the Technical Fest “Parakram” is also held every year. Apart from this, the college also allows the departments/ departmental societies of the Institute to organize events in their respective fields. The Institute organizes “Convergence” which is an event to mark the Silver Jubilee Reunion of its graduates every year, along with alumni of other batch.
Library: The central library of IET provides access to bibliographic, full text both in digital and printed resources for all students, faculty members, and staff. The library is automated with KOHA and has access to 19157 titles, 2670 E-journals, and 56491 volumes. With networked computers, it also consists of E-books through Nalanda E-consortium. The students and staff can search for Books online using Web OPAC .and also have a book bank facility.
Other Facilities: The Institute also has medical facilities provided to its students. IET Lucknow provides all medical facilities and medicines regularly to the patients of the Institute during OPD hours. Additionally, an on-campus bank along with an ATM is available inside the Institute Campus.
