Gandhi Institute For Education and Technology Admission Experience

My journey to Gandhi Institute for Education and Technology (GIET), Bhubaneswar, Khordha was a blend of excitement, anticipation, and a little bit of nervousness. This includes achieving a high rank in the OJEE Entrance Test, fulfilling age restrictions, and meeting the institute’s educational criteria. To ensure a smooth admission process, ambitious students need to thoroughly understand and meet these qualifying conditions. After clearing the OJEE entrance exam you have appeared for the online counselling process and paid the application fee then wait for selection. If selected you have to undergo the institute-level admission process at a college campus.

My Experience with the Admissions Process:

Receiving my provisional admission letter was a thrilling moment, signalling the start of my journey at GIET. On the day of physical reporting, I walked into the campus, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. The admissions process began smoothly with the collection of a token, which helped in organizing the flow of students.

Next came the document verification phase, where officials meticulously checked the paperwork I had submitted during the OJEE counselling. This step ensured that all documents were in order, meeting the institute’s requirements. Having all the necessary documents handy was crucial to avoid any delays.

Once the document check was done, I moved on to different offices and departments for signatures and paperwork completion. Interacting with the officials gave me insights into the institution’s functioning and available resources, and it also provided an opportunity to address any queries.

After completing the administrative procedures, I headed to the hostel registration office to arrange accommodation. The hostel staff was friendly and efficient, making the transition to hostel life smooth.

During the admissions process, I met fellow students who were going through the same experience, fostering a sense of camaraderie and belonging. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as we embarked on this new chapter of our lives together.

Payment of Fees and Admission Confirmation:

I had already paid the required fees during the counselling process, which was validated by the authorities upon physical reporting. Keeping the payment receipt and supporting documents handy was important for verification purposes.
