Goldman Sachs Interview Experience (On-Campus)
Goldman Sachs visited IIT Roorkee around the second week of August 2021 for Engineering Summer Intern.
The eligibility was JEE ALL. The process was first, resume-based shortlisting (CGPA>7); then second, test; third, Interviews. It took around two weeks from the pre-placement talk to the declaration of final results.
Round 1: Online Assessment Test
The test was conducted on HackerRank. The duration was 135 mins. The test consisted of three coding questions. They were like these:

- Other sections consisted of Computer science, Quantitative Aptitude, and one subjective section consisting of two HR-based questions. CS section consisted of questions from DBMS, OOPs, and OS.
- The quantitative Aptitude section consisted of questions from Probability and PC.
It will help if you are good at both coding and quant for clearing the test.
Round 2: Tech+HR
- According to the candidate’s performance, they took two to three interviews.
- In the 1st technical interview, she asked me an array and a string-based question. Unfortunately, she wasn’t satisfied with my naive approach, so that I couldn’t excel further.
