Hexagon R&D Interview Experience for SDE

I am currently in my third year, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science. Recently, Hexagon R&D offered internships to our college students for the role of software developer for a duration of six months. I applied for that role and took the first round, which was an aptitude test, and I got selected for the second round, which was a technical interview. I was a bit less confident as it was my first interview, but I went for it.

The interview was conducted by a panel of two members, each having their own expertise. As I sat down, they took my resume and asked me about my schooling, college experience, and my daily experiences. One of the panel members, who is an expert in computer science fundamentals, asked questions from subjects like computer networks, operating systems, and database management systems. He asked me basic questions covering the fundamentals of those subjects.

Afterwards, the second panel member asked me about my projects and questions from object-oriented programming concepts. He also asked about some code snippets from ReactJS, JavaScript, and some data structures.

They asked me if I had any queries for them, and I answered no. Finally, the interview ended successfully.
