ICFAI Hyderabad Interview Experience

Hello, aspiring tech students. I am a B-Tech first-year undergraduate majoring in Computer Science and Engineering.

INTRODUCTION:

ICFAI HYDERABAD University is an Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India a non-profit organization that has the motto of providing quality education to students.

MY CALL FOR INTERVIEW:

I wanted to pursue my Bachelor of Technology majoring in Computer Science from ICFAI Hyderabad soon before my TS-EAMCET results were announced. I have gone through the application process where, I submitted my Intermediate score and, Higher secondary education scorecard in the application. Within a few days, I received a call to attend the interview. It sounded surprising to me to hear the word “INTERVIEW”. I was happy about the call and got ready for the interview. I didn’t prepare anything related to my academics for the interview. But, I researched Computer science and prepared for some basic questions like: –

QUESTIONS TO BE PREPARED:

1)Tell me about yourself.

It means only yourself, not about your siblings or parents. Mention your interests, hobbies and strengths.

2)Why did you choose ICFAI?

It’s all in you. You must give them all the reasons for selecting this university.

3)Why only Computer science when there are many other sub-branches like AI, AI & DS, AI & ML, and other branches?

It is an individual interest. For me, I am passionate about coding and programming.

3)What is your goal? and again this is an individual perspective question.

All these questions were asked to me and I answered them confidently.

MY ADVICE AND REGARDS:

***Don’t get tensed. Don’t brag about yourself. Be calm minded. Give answer to question and don’t divert.***

There will be basic questions regarding Math, Physics, and Chemistry which are something like chemical reactions, examples of refraction etc.

Actually my score in Intermediate was 97.7% which is an achievement according to them. And my academic background was all good, which created a positive opinion. I was selected in the interview and was offered a complete scholarship for first semester, which would continue further based upon my academic performance in Engineering. I would say maintaining good academic performance can ensure 90% of the selection process and the other 10% depends on inter-personnel skills of the individual.

Thanks for your time and patience. Hope the content is useful. All the best for your future endeavors.
