How to Check Voter Registration Status (Online & Offline)
Online Process:
- Go to the National Voters’ Service Portal (NVSP) website (https://voters.eci.gov.in/).
- Click on the “Track Application Status” option.
- Enter your reference ID and state.
- Click on the “Track Status” button.
- Your voter registration status will be displayed on the screen.
Reference ID: This is a unique number that is assigned to your voter registration application. You can find your reference ID on the acknowledgement slip that you received after submitting your application.
State: This is the state where you are registered to vote.
Offline Process:
- Contact the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) in your area.
- Provide the ERO with your name, date of birth, and address.
- The ERO will check your voter registration status and provide you with the necessary information.
- You can find the contact details of the ERO in your area on the NVSP website.
