International Gandhi Peace Prize :
- The Government of India established the International Gandhi Peace Prize as a tribute to the ideals Gandhi represented.
- This is an annual award given to individuals and institutions that have contributed to social, economic, and political change through non-violence and other Gandhian methods.
- Prize money of Rs.10 million in cash, convertible to any currency in the world, is mentioned as a nameplate.
- Anyone can participate regardless of nationality, race, creed, or gender.
- A jury made up of the Prime Minister of India, The opposition leader of the Lok Sabha, the Chief Justice of India’s Supreme Court, and two other celebrities determine the winner each year.
- The Gandhi Peace Prize is awarded to one individual or organization each year.
- The jury’s term is three years. The jury’s former civil servants (PM, CJI, Loop) are permanent members and prominent members are retiring. The reappointment is valid.
- The jury is headed by the Prime Minister. In his absence, the other members of the jury will decide on the chairman.
- A majority of the jury is required to make a decision. Protests may not be lodged against jury decisions.

1. The jury, at its sole discretion, has the right to invite anyone to propose a Gandhi Peace Prize. Therefore, the following list of members may be nominated for the Gandhi Peace Prize.

4. Indian parliamentarian
5. Nobel laureates for the last five years
6. United Nations Secretary-General (UN) and leaders of other international organizations.
- The purpose of such resolutions is to promote peace, non-violence, the liberation of disadvantaged segments of society, tolerance, social harmony, and social justice.
