Mercor AI Interview Experience for Software Engineer

Hi All,

This is Jaison, currently I am having two years of experience in information technology. I am working as a full stack development in Java, Angular, Spring Boot and MySQL. My profile is shortlisted through resume.

I got invite from Mercor for AI Interview. I got an option for taking one AI interview through online. There is an option to select timing and all. interview on google meet and its for 20 min fixed.

Things I followed for preparation :

• I gone through with my resume and whatever I mentioned resume I prepared for those topics. I prepared for Java 8 features, Spring, Angular basic concepts and also prepared for MySQL.
• Then I gone through with my Projects whatever I worked. Along with security features and all.
• Also I prepared for good communication skills.
• Also I noticed in my project where I can I improve the technology.

Interview Experience :

• In my interview, AI asked about tell me about yourself. In that I explained about my work experience and technology I used, after that I explained about my qualification of engineering and my branch.
• After asked about the security threads, and how to manage the privacy of the data. I explained about spring security concepts and JWT tokens that I used for login authentication.
• After that AI asked about data backup and how to recover the data. In this I explained about tracking of the data and who monitored it.
• What are the improvements you want to see in your projects, I mentioned security and more bandwidth.

This interview is little bit difficult for me and I tried my best to give and analyze the problem.
