  • Requirements:- C++, DSA, Operating System, DBMS.
  • Eligibility Criteria:- B.E/B.Tech (CSE/IT)
  • CGPA: 7.5 and above (throughout career 75% including 10th & 12th)
  • I appeared in the on-campus placement of MindTickle in July 2021 at the Birla Institute Of Technology, Mesra.

It was a total of 5 rounds of process:

ROUND 1 [Resume Shortlisting]

The standard resume shortlisting round is based on skills, achievements, and CGPA. The resume shortlisting process is very good as they focus not only on CGPA but also on the candidate’s involvement in college extracurricular activities. I believe they are thoroughly reviewing all the resumes instead of just relying on calculating an ATS score.

ROUND 2 [Online Coding Test]

This round was conducted on the Hackerrank platform and it consisted of 2 questions from Data Structures & Algorithms. The first question is a basic array question, the second is from hard level of dynamic programming. I was able to solve first question and half test cases of second problem in one hour. I was selected for the next round. A total of 7 got selected for the next round.

ROUND3 [Technical Interview-1]

It started with a project discussion and we discussed my project for around 10 minutes. After that, he gave me one medium-hard Linked List question to Reverse Nodes in k-Group in Linked List. It took 25 minutes of interview to write complete code after that he asked basic Data Structure, Operating Syatem and DBMS 7-8 questions. I was able to solve coding questions and also answer almost every question about Data Structure, Operating Systems and DBMS. I got selected for the next round. A total of 3 were selected for the next round.

ROUND4 [Technical Interview-2]

It began with a basic introduction and project discussion. This round mainly focused on the data structure part. The interviewer asked one medium-level question about graphs and one hard-level question about dynamic programming. I was able to solve the medium-level question but couldn’t solve the hard one. Unfortunately, I got rejected in this round. Only one candidate was selected for the final HR round.

ROUND 5 [HR Interview]

I wasn’t able to give the interview, but one of my friends appeared in that interview. They ask casual questions and discuss about future scope and the team. And he clears HR rounds with ease.
