MNNIT,Allahabad Admission Experience

In July, the JEE Mains result was released, scoring 158 with a 97.65%ile. In August, the final %ile with the rank was released, with 160 marks and a 96.5%ile. So, the best out of the two was 97.5%ile with a CRL of around 22k.

In October, counselling started the stage where a click can ruin the whole process. The preference list, payment, and document verification all went smoothly. The college was allocated in the 6th round result, and the final payment was made.

But wait, wait, the word fluently wasn’t so fluent. I watched so many YouTube videos to clear my doubts, read the long brochure released by the NTA, the government body to manage exams, and most importantly, landed on Quora for almost all my doubts.

The most important documents that needed to be managed were the income certificate and the EWS certificate, which needed to be from the current financial year. (I was a general category student, so there was no need for a category certificate.)

I went there for physical verification on the 10th of November with my parents. The whole admission process took place inside a seminar hall on the campus. We needed to get two copies of documents like the income certificate, EWS certificate, JoSAA seat allocation certificate, Aadhar card, 12th TC, parents’ Aadhar cards, and the fee receipt. After all these verifications, which took half an hour, my hostel and admission receipts were generated. I then went to the hostel with all my luggage, which was 2 km away, filled out the hostel form, paid the mess fee, and was allotted a room.

Here I would mention that being the first day at MNNIT, Allahabad, the whole staff was friendly and assisted in every step and guided us.

The 14th of November was orientation day, and the day after it, my journey with MNNIT commenced.

The irreplaceable memories, the incredible environment, and the perks of admitting to one of the Top 5 NITs were all attained.

So, I firmly believe that whatever we sacrifice for one or more reasons, we always achieve a better version of the outcome.
