Publicis Sapient Interview Experience (On-Campus) 2023
Publicis Sapient visited our college for campus hiring. The selection process included an MCQ test, a technical interview, and an HR interview.
On-Campus Round:
Round 1 (100 minutes):
Part 1 – MCQs (33 questions):
- Logical Reasoning: 3 questions
- Non-Verbal Reasoning: 3 questions
- Analytical Skill: 2 questions
- Verbal Reasoning: 2 questions
- Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA): 6 questions
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS): 6 questions
- Relational Database Management System (RDBMS): 4 questions
- C++/Java: 7 questions
Part 2 – Coding Questions: (C++/Java/Python)
- To count the number of ways to decode an encoded message.
- To find two numbers in an array that add up to a given target (Two Sum).
Interview in their Office:
Round 2
Technical Round (45 minutes):
- Introduction
- Discussion about projects.
- Explanation of project architecture, functionality, coding aspects, and future goals.
- JavaScript questions focusing on asynchronous behaviour and async/await.
- Java code execution prediction involving OOPS concepts, static, and non-static methods.
- Data Structures and Algorithms: Code to convert a number to words.
- HashMap and another DSA question.
HR Interview (25 minutes):
- Introduction and discussion about challenging situations.
- Sharing the best learning from life experiences.
- Reflecting on the biggest mistake in life.
- Various situational questions.
- The intriguing question is about dividing 17 into three ratios (1:9, 1:3, 1:5).
The on-campus round comprised challenging MCQs and coding questions, filtering candidates for the subsequent rounds. The office interview delved into technical expertise with a focus on JavaScript, Java, and problem-solving skills. The HR round aimed to assess personal attributes and problem-solving abilities in real-life scenarios.
