Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Admission process

RGUKT also known as IIIT, was founded by Dr.Y.S.RajaSekhar Reddy for the gifted rural youth. Generally, the students who scored top in SSC in AP mandal-wise were shortlisted based on application and then called for counselling (certificate verification). The reservations for women, caste, sports, and physically handicapped are considered.

Unique Admission Process :

My Admission(the batches of 2020,2021) are different. the Due to COVID-19, the AP government haven’t conducted SSC exam. RGUKT which has a unique admission process of selecting students for ascorecard year-integrated Btech programme based on SSC merit and applications announced an entrance test RGUKT CET

Entrance Exam RGUKT CET:

Subjects: MATHEMATICS, PHYSICS, BIOLOGY

Syllabus: AP state syllabus(SSC syllabus)

Weightage:

Results:

Results were announced considering including all the criteria like marks (maths weightage more), caste, rural/urban, government /private school

Rank along with marks were given.I got 86 marks with a 1096 rank, the highest in my manual

Counselling Day:

The first 500 were called on the first day of counselling.I got my counselling call on 2nd day.

• Rank and scorecard
• Residence certificate
• Bank account details
• Photocopies and other details

we attended counselling and got seat in RkVALLEY which is one of the four campuses of RGUKT(Nuzvid,RKValley,Srikakulam,Ongole).

JOINING LETTER:

After all the verification of certificates and based on availability of seats ,a seat in RKValley granted for me.

After the payment of admission and caution fee of 5000/-rupees .I took my joining letter.
