Rently Interview Experience for Internship + Full Time (On-Campus)
I attended the Rently On-campus Placement drive for the batch of 2022. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the entire placement process was conducted online. There were 4 rounds
Round 1(Coding Round – Elimination Round): This round had one coding question which had to be completed within 75 minutes.
- It was a medium-level array-based question and the platform was HackerRank.
- There was strict checking for plagiarism.
- After 2 to 3 hours the results were published and 28 students passed this round.
Round 2(HR Interview): This was a basic round and the interviewer asked some questions to know about me.
- Introduce Yourself
- Family Background
- What are your Hobbies?
- Why do you want to join Rently?
- Are you OK with 2.5 years bond?
- In which work environment would you like to work?
- What are your two strengths and weaknesses?
- Where do you see yourself after 5 years?
- Any Questions?
At the end of the round, the interviewer said that I am qualified for the next round which was the Technical Interview.
Round 3(Technical Interview – Elimination Round): This round took almost one hour. The panel had 3 members and the platform used was google meet.
- Questions based on your Project. (So study your project thoroughly)
- Questions based on your technical skills mentioned in your resume.
- SQL queries
- Which language do you like? I said C++
- What is Operator Overloading?
- What is Object-Oriented Programming Concept?
- How can you display multiple websites on a single webpage?
- Different types of CSS?
- Find the output for the pseudocodes. (They gave me pseudocodes in the google meet chatbox)
- What is a primary key?
- What are indexes?
- What are the different types of databases?
- What are Joins and their types?
- What is lazy loading?
- Questions on JavaScript (I was not able to answer everything)
- What are the different types of inheritance?
- Difference between Multiple and Hierarchical Inheritance?
- Any Questions.
I was able to answer 85% of the questions. After a couple of hours, the results came and 7 students passed this round.
Round 4(Management Interview): This round was similar to the HR round. The Panel had 2 members.

- Questions based on your hobbies.
- What do you know about rently?
- Questions based on the hackathons I attended.
- Are you OK with the 2.5 Years bond?
- Preferred Work Location
- Any Questions?
This rounded ended well and I was pretty confident that I would get selected.
After 3 to 4 hours the final results came and 6 students were placed at Rently and I was one among them!!
