Siemens Interview Experience for EDA(Mentor Graphics) 2022

Round 1: Online assessment comprising 33 multiple-choice questions. These questions were from the topics OOPS, Computer Networks, Data Structures, and Aptitude. The Duration of the assessment was 60 minutes. 

Round 2: Technical Interview – 60 minutes

• This round was taken by a senior software Engineer.
• This started off with a basic introduction about me.
• I was then asked questions about the projects that I had mentioned in my resume. Further, the interviewer asked me about my learnings from my previous internship.
•  I was asked a question based on OOPS (https://www.w3wiki.net/count-number-of-a-class-objects-created-in-java/). There were various case test cases for which I had to check the output of my suggested solution.
• The interviewer also tested my knowledge about constructors and destructors.
• Further, I had to solve two puzzles

• I was also asked to optimize the solutions for the first puzzle.

At the end of the interview, I was briefed about the company .15 students were finally selected .
