Sopra Steria Interview Experience For Engineer Trainee (Off-campus) 2022

I applied to Sopra Steria through the off-campus. After a few weeks, I received the Assignment test link.

The online assessment is conducted on the Naukri platform on the campus itself, the assessment consisted of 120Mcqs for 150mins.

The Assessment consisted of topics like:

• Arithmetic
• Logical Reasoning
• Blood Relations
• Directions
• Geometry
• Statistics
• Verbal
• General Knowledge
• Web Technology
• Code snippets

That time I didn’t have a laptop I attended using my mobile I attempted all MCQs.

After a few weeks, I received a mail for the shortlist in the online assessment we send the mail like that.

A few friends of my friends also received but they had the interview.

I checked 3-4 days and I sent mail regarding my interview schedule.

1 week later I received my interview schedule mail.

The interviewer asked questions from the Resume and some basic questions about the OOP concept and DBMS-

1. Explain about the projects you have worked on.
2. What is function overloading?
3. Write a program to find the number of vowels in a given word.
4. What is the need for normalization?
5. What is a Cartesian product?
6. If there are two tables of 3 and 6 rows each then how many rows will be there after their Cartesian Product?
7. Difference between Cartesian Product and Join.
8. Explain left and right join.
9. What is used to find unique rows in a table?
10. Why is a Foreign key used?

This round took about 30 minutes.

1. Can you tell me about yourself?
2. Describe a situation where you had to work as part of a team.
3. How do you handle pressure and deadlines?
4. What do you know about our company?
5. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
6. Have you ever faced a difficult situation at work or in school? How did you handle it?
7. Do you have any questions for us?
