Tata Neu ‘Super App’ To Make Debut on April 7
Synopsis – The mobile app is currently available on Google Play and Apple’s App stores. It will be offering reward points which are called ‘NeuCoins’. The rewards will be earned by customers of Tata Neu when they will be using the service platform such as buying products online and offline or in physical locations.
Tata’s yet another flagship project which is considered the ‘super app’ named ‘Tata Neu’ is expected to be launched officially on April 7. The app by Tata Digital will be a platform that will provide shopping and payments services, which is being termed as the rival of e-commerce majors Amazon and Flipkart in India.
The mobile app is currently available on Google Play and Apple’s App stores. It will be offering reward points which are called ‘NeuCoins’. The rewards will be earned by customers of Tata Neu when they will be using the service platform such as buying products online and offline or in physical locations.
Tata Neu’s description on Google Play contains information regarding the reward system. It says that a 1 NeuCoin will be equal to 1 Indian rupee. The description reads, “Earn NeuCoins every time you make a purchase, which can be redeemed for an equal amount of INR the next time you shop (1 NeuCoin = ₹1). This guarantees you unlimited freedom to earn anywhere, spend everywhere and maximize your savings.”
As mentioned on the website, the platform will also provide offers from the other ventures of Tata including AirAsia India, BigBasket, Croma, Tata CLiQ, etc. Currently, the app is in the testing phase and is only available to company employees.

Explorers on Tata Neu will be treated to unbeatable offers from AirAsia India, BigBasket, Croma, Tata CLiQ, IHCL, Westside, and more. Currently, the Tata Neu experience is only available to Tata Group employees.
Apart from shopping, the is also going to allow the users to pay bills using the same app. The payment can be made both online and in-store through Tata Pay. Also, the users will be able to make payments using the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and will also be offering EMI options.
According to the updated description of the app on Google Play, the users of the app will be able to make transactions over UPI or bank account with Tata Neu App. It will allow them to scan QR codes for payments like any other app payments app such as Paytm, Google Pay, or PhonePe.
As per the reports, the company has been working on the app for several months. The website of Tata Digital navigating to the Tata Neu app reads,

While on the other hand, the Google Play Store’s description states, “It’s your one-stop shop for a seamless shopping and payments experience. Pay instantly for any of your online and in-store purchases, utility bills & more, using Tata Pay.”
