Transunion Interview Experience for Developer Or Quality Engineer (On-Campus) 2024
There were a total of 3 rounds conducted.
ROUND 1 [Online Assessment]:
It was on the AMCAT SHL Platform which consisted of aptitude, verbal ability, logical reasoning questions, and 2 coding questions on the usage of STL.
ROUND 2 [Technical Interview]:
The interview was for 30 minutes. Initially, I was asked to introduce myself and asked questions about my background. Next were questions from my resume which included questions on project and virtual internships related.
3 coding questions :
- Write an optimal code to find the number of prime numbers within a given range. Then we discussed the time complexity of the code that I wrote.
- Reverse the words in a string and return the entire string. The code should be in Java. We discussed the time complexity for this as well.
- An SQL question where I had to print the second max salary among the employees of an organization.
Then I was asked conceptual questions on :
- Advantages of c++ over java.
- What is normalization in DBMS?
- What are different software engineering models?
- Difference between waterfall and agile models.
- Different types of testing in software development.
Ended the interview by asking my preference of location for working.
ROUND 3 [Managerial Interview]:
This round was for 15 mins. I was asked questions on my resume and my background, and hobbies. Then I was asked how Java is platform independent.
They asked to explain inheritance in C++ using real-world scenarios.
I took the example of Traffic analysis.
