UGC NET Admit Card 2023 Out: This year, NTA will conduct the UGC Net Exam 2023 from 6 December to 22 December 2023. Along with this, NTA has also activated the UGC NET city intimation 2023 link on the official website. Candidates can download the NTA UGC NET hall ticket 2023 by using their UGC NET exam registration number and date of birth by visiting the official website of NTA. Candidates are requested to download the admit card before the exam.
What is UGC NET Exam
University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is an examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for determining the eligibility for the post of assistant professor &/or Junior Research Fellowship award in Indian universities & colleges. Until July 2018, it was the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) that conducted the UGC NET exam, but since December 2018, the NTA has been conducting it. Currently, the exam is conducted twice a year in June & December in online mode only.

Step 1: Go to the official website NTA UGC NET (www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in)
Step 2: Click on the link ‘UGC NET December 2023 Admit Card’ under the recent update section once the link for December 2023 is activated.

Step 4: Enter the Security Pin (Captcha Code) as displayed on the screen.

How to Correct Errors in UGC NET Admit Card 2023
Candidates are advised to verify all the personal details and exam details mentioned in the admit card prior to one week of exam. If there are any errors in UGC NET Admit Card, make sure to contact the NTA helpline numbers which are 8076535482 and 7703859909 between the timing 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM for all working days.
Documents to Carry to UGC NET Exam Center
It is advised to carefully read all the guidelines and instructions mentioned in admit card. Please carry these documents at the center of exam otherwise candidates will not be allowed to sit in the exam hall.
- One passport size photo (same as uploaded on the application form).
- PwD certificate, if applicable.
- One original authorised photo ID (PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card)
Important Instructions on UGC NET Admit Card 2023
- If there are some error in personal or exam related details then make sure to contact NTA at least one week prior to the exam otherwise admit card will not be reissued
- Candidates will need to download the UGC NET Admit Card pdf and must reach to the tentative exam centre on time.
- No candidates will be allowed to exam centre without admit card
- Reach to the exam centre at least 1 hour prior to the exam and enter the exam hall 30 minutes before the exam starts.
- Candidates are advised to download a copy of their UGC NET Admit Card and keep it in good condition for future reference.
- Sanitisation & temperature checks are mandatory before entering into the exam hall.
- Mobile Phones/ Earphone/Microphones/ Pager, Calculator, Document, Pen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder, Electronic Watches with facilities of calculators, any metallic items, electronic gadgets/ devices are not allowed in the Examination Venue

UGC NET Prep Tips 2023
Candidates are advised to go through the entire syllabus before beginning their UGC NET Preparation so that they understand what the exam demands. They must also review their previously prepared notes on all the significant & challenging topics on a regular basis. A realistic study plan should be made in order to cover maximum topics in less time.
Some tips to ace the UGC NET exam are:
- Recognizing the exam – Candidates must completely go through the syllabus and be familiar with the UGC NET Exam Pattern. Have a look at the previous year cut-off scores in order to get a good sense of the score you’ll need in order to be selected.
- Examine the Syllabus – Understanding the concepts rather than mugging up information. It will benefit the candidates when they are fully aware of the subjects that in both Paper 1 & Paper 2. Make a list of topics that one finds difficult & prepare & practise them more.
- Good Study Plan – Make a study plan & consistently follow it. Carefully devote your time to each topic to have a thorough understanding of the exam’s format & syllabus.
- Time Management – By solving the previous year’s question papers & mocks, we can see how much time it takes to solve the exam so that on the day of the final examination, we can solve the paper within the specified time.
- Understand your areas of Strength & Weakness – Recognize what you are good & bad at. Know your weak areas & work on them. Plan as per that.
- Set weekly & monthly Targets – In order to prepare well, keep a track of what all you have studied & are planning to study by setting up targets on a daily, weekly & monthly basis so that you can have a smooth preparation & timely completely what all needs to be studied for the exam.
- Revision- Just preparing the topics won’t be enough, one needs to continuously revise & analyse as per the questions given in the exam through mocks & previous year questions. Keep a note of the topics that are asked every year & prepare accordingly.
- Mental Wellness – Candidates must maintain both their physical & mental health while preparing for an exam. Ensure getting enough sleep, take small breaks between studies & keep a balanced diet.
UGC NET 2023 Answer Key
After completion of the entrance exam, the board will publish the UGC NET 2023 Answer key. Candidates will be able to download the Answer key online mode. The Answer key will be released for both Papers – I & II in various sets which has all the right answers of the questions asked in the exam paper. UGC NET 2023 Result
After the exams are over & the answer key is released, the board will announce the result. The results will be released once the exam has been held. Students can check their results online by submitting their roll number & date of birth. Only the candidates who qualify for the test by securing the cut-off marks will be called for the counselling process.
UGC NET 2023 Scorecard
The scorecard will be released along with the release of results. UGC NET 2023 Scorecard has important details about the candidate & the entrance exam.
