UI Design of a Fashion Brand Website

A fashion brand website is the one which consists of several products concerning the fashion, or the makeup domain, such as makeup items, accessories, other products related to enhancing the beauty features, etc. In this article we will learn how to create a fashion brand website UI using some basic design principles & how to create the following pages: Home, About Us, Individual Product Page & Browse Products Page.

Color Theory: ​

Choosing a uniform color is important for the website as rest of the elements are colored in contrast with the uniform color chosen for the entire website. For eg. If we use pink or gray color, then the rest of the website ​is based on contrasting colors of pink & black, white or gray.

Negative Spaces:

Negative spaces are simply blank spaces that ensure a better visibility and readability to the user. ​It helps in providing some space to the user to be able to think and imagine better.

Alignment:

A proper alignment helps in increasing the interactivity and visibility of the website as it makes the website look beautiful. It ensures a better readability & is a part of a good design approach.

Grid System:

A grid system ensures better readability as it aligns all the images in a proper fashion & helps make the website look good and elegant. All the products listed in the website, and their images are in a very orderly fashion.

Effects:

Effects enhance the Search Engine Optimization and help improvise the UI of the website. As soon as any page reloads, several effects help in improvising the UI, such as entry of images from left or right, or constant typing of the text in animated format, etc.

Typography:

A simple & subtle font must be chosen in terms of typography, for eg., Sans serif, Poppins, etc. They help in better readability & help in understanding the text information better.

Use of Infographic elements:

Infographics are essential for the website as good and quality images ensure a good response from the customer. Thus a good set of pictures must be more than enough to attract the customers. ​

The Home page consists of a simple navigation bar and a footer containing links to several other websites. The home page gives us a basic idea of what all the website consists of.

The Browse page also consists of a header & a footer, and it consists of the items displayed which the website offers, and how can one search through the products and browse for different items.

The individual product page consists of a basic idea and several other details about a particular product. It displays it’s name & price rate, along with some offers, if exist.

The About us page gives an insight about the website, as in what the company is all about, it’s vision, any achievements or what it plans to achieve and in which industry.
