Web Staff (Japan Company) Interview Experience for Software Engineer
I had the chance to interview for the Software Engineer position at Web Staff (Japanese Company) through an on-campus recruitment process.
1. Shortlisting Round
- MCQ is based on Django, Python, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Two coding Questions
- Question on Graph [ Medium – Hard] Difficulty.
- Question on Mathematics [ Easy]
2. Technical Round [ only one Round]
- Employees from the company visited our college, 2 Japanese and 1 Indian.
- The interview was held via Zoom call, there were 2 interviewers in the panel, questions were asked in Japanese, the offline employee translated the questions for the candidate.
- The interview is of 30 minutes duration.

- Did you propose any ideas during the internship to the company in the Project?
- Explain about your project [ Explained via showing the demo].
- What Database did you use? [ Shown the mongo DB atlas database]
- Are you willing to relocate to Japan?
- Are you okay with the salary provided? [ Salary is less when converted to Indian Rupees].
Verdict: Not Selected
Remarks: 1 candidate was selected who has an ML and DL background.
