Company Overview

The Kabadiwala.com, a product of Asar Green Kabadi Pvt. Ltd., is a Start-Up India Recognized company. Leveraging a SaaS (Software as a Service) based model, it aims to bring organization and efficiency to the waste management sector.

I joined The Kabadiwala as a Software Engineer Trainee, following a rigorous selection process involving an offline technical interview and an HR interview. During my initial three-month internship, I was exposed to a plethora of technologies such as ASP.NET Core, SQL, Postman, and Microservices.

Impressed by my quick learning and contributions, the company promoted me to a full-time position as Software Engineer-1 after my internship. I served in this role for a year, mainly focusing on backend development. I utilized ASP.NET Core Web API for API development, and the application architecture was based on the Microservices model.

This introduction succinctly summarizes my journey at The Kabadiwala, from an intern to a full-time software engineer.

As an SWE-1, my key responsibilities included:

Task Planning: This involved discussing tasks with the manager, creating corresponding issues on GitHub, and assigning them to the appropriate team members.

Development, Testing, and Deployment: My role encompassed developing, testing, and reviewing code, as well as deploying it on the server.

System Standards: I recommended changes in development, maintenance, and system standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Adherence to Architectural Standards: I adhered to Object-Oriented Programming principles and the Microservices architecture in my work, ensuring high-quality software development.
