Accenture Advance Application Engineering Analyst Interview experience

Number of Rounds:- 3 Rounds

1- Round-1

  • A. Cognitive and Technical (MCQ) round:  Multiple choice questions
  • B. Coding round

2- Communication round: 

3- Interview – Technical + HR round

Round 1 ( Aptitude & Coding Test )

A. Cognitive and Technical (MCQ) round –

 The difficulty level was between easy and medium. There were many questions to be completed in 60 minutes. Some questions were about cyber security, excel & DSA This was an elimination round, and elimination was also based on time.

B. Coding Part(DSA) –

Consisted of 2 questions to be completed in 45 minutes. The level of difficulty was easy to moderate.

Round 2 – Communication round:

It is an AI-based assessment. It has different sections with varying time requirements to complete each question.

AI behind it will catch the with how much clarity you speak and your pronunciation. We can say it is similar to what we had in class 10th ASL ( Assessment of Speaking & listening)

There were different sections like Listening, Jumbled Sentences. Summary telling from a story. You can find more about this from videos available in youtube.

Round 3 – Interview Round ( Technical & HR) (Around 45 mins)

  • Questions were based on resume, projects & training/internhip mentioned in the resume.
  • They try to check your interest in this field
  • Asked question were about Linked List traversal & reversal and circular linked list
  • Situation based question and questions like what you learn from this thing.
  • Some students were asked about Cyber Security & Cloud (not much in depth)
  • They ask about the terms you mention in your previously answer question
  • Difficult was medium
  • How will you finish your work if you have to work with someone you have a conflict with.

Resume Tips

  • Try to make one column resume
  • Have a CPI of more than 7.5/8
  • Make at least one advanced project.
  • Your project should have CRUD functionality ( create, read, update & delete)
  • Not just make some basic to do list projects, like full fledged front end backed projects.
  • Know your resume word by word.

Tips from Seniors

  • DSA is must (70% interview is about DSA)
  • Leetcode daily is must.
  • Binary search for friendly competition with your friends.
  • Give weekly contests & maintain a good rank & rating
  • Practice Aptitude once/twice a week
  • Have quite good knowledge about – DBMS, OS & CN ( CS fundamentals)
  • Try to make notes topics wise and of hard question practice them in the last month
  • Solve questions company wise last month.
  • Don’t try to be oversmart and to do not bluff about anything.
  • Cover all standard question about DSA and make sure you are able to explain your code and approach
  • Try to give mock Interviews and work on your soft skills
  • Try not to be silent for long time.
  • Wellfound(proirly angellist) to apply for internships
