Accenture Interview Experience as a Java Developer

I applied for Accenture on their job portal and after nearly a month, I got my interview scheduled. There were 2 technical rounds and 1 HR discussion which was just related to salary only.

Technical Round 1:

  • Tell me about yourself.
  • Java 8 features and 2 questions on Streams API that were related to distinct and sorted methods.
  • How to manage faulty containers in Docker.
  • OOPs features in details
  • SpringBoot annotations.

Technical round 2:

In-depth knowledge was required for questions asked on access modifiers, Inheritance and OOP concepts as he gave me some code snippets and asked the outputs.

  • Two sum problem
  • Difference between Controller and RestController.
  • How CRUD works in SpringBoot
  • Various annotations in Spring AOP
  • Query to find all employees having the highest salary.
  • @Qualifier and @Primary
  • Bean Scopes in Springboot
  • Profiling in SpringBoot

HR Discussion

  • Just asked a few personal questions like where you live and what your family does. Did salary negotiations.

Cleared all rounds and got an offer letter in just 1 week.

I was not happy with the package offered. It was 2.5x my current package and I expected 3X as I already had an offer of 2.5X from a reputed company. Will see if they increase.
