Hack Unicorn Club Work Experience As A Executive Team Member
On September 1st, 2023, I got an offer letter from Hack Unicorn Club to onboard as an Executive Team after 15-20 days of clearing the interview successfully. It was the beginning phase of that club, there’s a fun fact that the offer letter that I get is designed by us, the members of the Graphic Design team. I joined the club before the club officially started, and worked there as a Graphic Designer. Since that was the starting phase, there was very work pressure and the timeline given to complete the work was very minimal. You have to make it a priority over all other things. I was 2nd sem/1st-year student at that time, so after working for a few months, I realized to stopped working for that and I left silently.
So, what were my key responsibilities as a Graphic Designer? Here is the list:
- I have to design a lot of posters, brochures, etc.
- I have to research about the sponsors/organizations.
- After designing, I have to pass the quality pass test.
As said above, due to heavy work pressure and the continuous collision of work with my college, I left that club. Either I need to prioritize it or I have to leave my college work pending. One more factor for leaving that is I don’t have much interest in Graphic design, I do it just for my own interest or for my own needs. Though there are so many reasons for leaving it, there were so many good things too.
Here I listed some Pros and Cons of the Work Experience:
Pros:
- Skills enhancement and improvement
- Learnt delivering products in less time
- Time management
- Team Work
- Team management
Cons:
- Overexertion
- Unpaid
- Unfixed time, you have to work at any moment
- Work pressure
- Mental illness leads to frustration
- Less appreciation, and demand for Quality work
