IBM Interview Experience For ASE (On-Campus)

A few days ago, IBM held on-campus placement tests in our college for Associate Software Engineers. (female-only candidates)

Here’s my experience-

Surprisingly, there was no aptitude and only one coding question was asked. It was different for each candidate. I have a question about changing a string from normal case to camel case, snake case, kebab case and Pascal case.

It was of #Easy type so I finished it in 15 min. The allotted time was 45 min.

After passing the coding round, we had an English test where three rounds were taken of 4-2 min and you need to keep solving Qs until time runs out.

We had a group discussion after that of 10 people. My group got the topic ” Effect of Social Media”. Try to be loud and confident in what points you speak and listen to others too.

The final round was the interview with the company’s senior members. They usually asked Qs related to things written in our resume. Not very deep Qs but they wanted to know you know the basics and where they are used.
