IIIT Vadodara – International Campus Experience

In the journey of graduation or any degree course, the college campus holds a very important place in the development and success of a student. It ensures the student is comfortable and their basic needs are met so they can focus on their studies. A college campus provides a haven cut off from the distractions of the world with a surplus of knowledge and a community of curious students with a strong desire to learn and achieve.

The Diu campus of IIIT Vadodara is an educational hub established for the personal and professional development of a student in the field of Information Technology (IT) and its allied sectors. This article explores my personal experience at the Diu campus of IIIT Vadodara as a student pursuing B. Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE).

The Diu campus of IIIT Vadodara is a satellite campus of great beauty. The campus provides calm and peace like no other, enabling the students to stay active and fresh all day long. The campus has a wide open space with lots of greenery, it is situated on the outskirts of the main city and the breeze from the sea keeps the temperature moderate all day long.

The Hostel and Mess facilities provided are really amongst the best, neat and cleanly designed rooms with comfortable beds and lots of storage space, proper lighting and a firm study table with fast working wireless internet available day and night. The Mess food is better than what is served in most colleges of the country. The building designs are unique and intriguing for both hostels and classrooms.

The teaching faculty of IIIT Vadodara – International Campus Diu (ICD) is diligent and experienced with deep knowledge in their specific fields of teaching. The institute provides a tough curriculum and the campus environment helps students master their problem-solving skills and incite interest in the field of Information Technology while encouraging the spirit of constructive competition. A well-taught community of students help each other hone their skills and abilities along with working together to make something extraordinary and maintain a tradition of passing on teachings of healthy learning practices.

Apart from Academics, the campus provides an environment for the holistic development of every individual student with a wide variety of extracurricular activities and events. The Technical, Literature, Cultural, and Sports committees and their clubs work tirelessly to organize and manage events as well as maintain and arrange for all facilities required for extracurricular activities and the overall growth of students all around the year.

Conclusion:

In the end, I would only like to say that this campus experience is a truly beautiful time of change and growth for a student like a metamorphosis. Each student can become a bright and useful member of a welcoming community that gives a sense of belonging and encourages personal as well as professional development. As one cuts off from the world and dives into the campus atmosphere they are more likely to take part in activities that liven up their college journey and assist in their growth and development.
