JEE Advanced Experience

Introduction:

Hello, I am an undergraduate student of my B. Tech of 2nd year, now I am going to share with my experience of JEE Advanced 2022.

When candidates will pass the JEE Main exam then they will eligible to sit on this exam, I sat on this exam after passing in JEE Main but I failed the exam. I sat in 2022.

Some of the key highlights of the JEE Advanced paper pattern are-

  • The main exam will be conducted in computer-based mode.
  • JEE-Advanced consists of 2 papers(paper-1 and paper-2) and candidates have to appear for both papers.
  • The question paper consists of three parts- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • The total time duration for each paper is 3 hours.
  • The examination or languages of the examination are Hindi and English.

JEE Advanced exam pattern- Marking scheme, total marks:

  • Usually, the questions asked in the JEE Advanced paper are pretty tough and tricky. The exam is further designed to judge theoretical knowledge and student’s reasoning ability, comprehension skills and analytical power. So, it is important to get familiar with the exam and the question paper early on.
  • The exam is held in an online mode(computer-based test), where students need to have a basic knowledge of the working of a computer and the mouse.
  • As mentioned above, the exam consists of two papers. Those are paper-1 and paper-2. JEE Advanced paper-1 and paper-2 further constitute a total of 54 questions each. The paper is divided into three sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, each having 18 questions. The duration of each paper is 3 hours and is conducted either Hindi or English.
