Step 1: At first, if we are using the device as the Laptop, we have to press three keys simultaneously. We have to press the following keys.
Windows+Shift+S
Pressing these keys at the same time will hold the screen for taking the shot. If the device is being used as the Tablet, we have too long press on the screen. This will help to hold the screen for taking the snap of the window which we are seeing.
Step 2: Now, if we are using Microsoft Surface as a laptop, we need to use the mouse to take the snap. We have to click on the desired part of the screen & drag the mouse there. After that, we have to leave the mouse. If we are using Microsoft Surface as a tablet, we need to use one finger only. Using one finger, we need to drag over the screen. This will help to take the necessary screenshot part over there.
Note: While using Microsoft Surface as the Laptop, we can also use our fingers to drag over the screen to take the screenshot. There will no problem if we use the finger at this stage. But it is advisable to always use the mouse while taking the screenshot.
Step 3: Now, after taking the screenshot, the file is now saved to the default location Picture in File Explorer. We can easily browse there to find out that.
Note: This method can be used for both laptop & tablet forms. But the process of taking the screenshot is different for each of them.
How to Take a Screenshot On Microsoft Surface?
Microsoft Surface is a special laptop edition by Microsoft. Earlier, Microsoft can only deliver the operating system Windows to laptops & computers. But with time, they start making laptops also. Microsoft Surface has the operating system as Windows only. It is not only the laptop. It is also a tablet. Users can use it for both purposes. The screen can be detached from the device.
