Comparison Chart: MidJourney V2 or V6 Alpha

• It’s detailed but not better than V6.
• Output looked good but was not photorealistic and took multiple attempts to generate an accurate output.

Much more detailed output than V5.2 but this has a drawback. The pictures are too detailed, so you have to use prompts to reduce the details and make the picture fit for use.

Images of humans generated were photorealistic but the output was never consistent and took multiple prompts to get the desired outcome.

Images are highly detailed and are pretty close to being photorealistic with consistent output.

This was a big issue with V5.2. The text added to pictures was never accurate and missed out on words. It has bugs or similar issues with using the whole text.

MidJourney Alpha corrected the limitations of V5.2. Now the text in images just looks perfect but this is a new feature and is far from being perfect.

It lacked accuracy and swayed away from the given prompt. The pictures had issues in terms of placement of elements like “Chopsticks in hand”

The details and the accuracy have been elevated with this new MidJourney version. The output comes pretty accurately following long prompts closely.

The output on V5.2 was accurate and satisfactory in terms of colours until we compared it with the output of V6.

The details on colours and vibrancy make the product generated on V6 look way better than that of V5.2.
