Specialized Fundamentals Course: Conception and expression; lifestyle, apparel, diet, residence, leisure. Students develop creative abilities, planning abilities, plastic arts skills, and communication abilities through practical design techniques related to apparel, diet, residence, and leisure. |
Third Year |
Specialized Courses: Design and expression; society, urban environment, information. Students develop conceptual abilities, presentation skills, and planning abilities through plastic arts processes related to society, the urban environment, and information. They choose specialized courses tailored to specific themes and study ancient art through travel. |
Fourth Year |
Specialized Courses: Design and expression; thesis project. Students accumulate specialized skills through design themes based on their own identities. The second semester is dedicated to creating a thesis project under the guidance of individual studios. |
For Post Graduate Program (PG)
In the master’s degree program, students are assigned to specific studios to pursue their own research and creative work based on their research themes and studio specialization. Joint research is also conducted through a community-involvement program, involving multiple research domains, joint planning, and collaborative creative work.
Doctoral programs focus on in-depth design research from a comprehensive perspective. Students study their own original design theory and pursue advanced creative research and creative work. They participate in research activities, such as social-involvement activities and international exchange planned by the department and studios, to broaden the scope of their studies and gain practical experience.
