CTET 2024 Application Process: Step by Step Guide
Step I: Registration Process
- Visit the official website @ctet.nic.in and select the ‘Application form for CTET 2024’ link on the homepage.
- Click the ‘New Candidate Registration’ button.
- Review the important information displayed, carefully read it, and check the provided box.
- Click the ‘Click to proceed’ link, which will redirect you to the application form page.
Step II: Creating a CTET Password
- Your CTET 2023 password should be 8 to 13 characters long.
- It must contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one numeric value, and at least one special character: # $% & * –
- If necessary, after logging in, applicants can change their passwords.
- The new CTET Application Form 2023 password must differ from the previous three passwords.
- Do not share your password, as authorities will not be responsible for any misuse.
Step III: Completing the Application Form
- Enter the required details and complete the online CTET Application Form 2023, setting the password.
- Enter the following details:
- Personal details: Candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, date of birth, identity type, identity number.
- Contact details: Address, state, district, pin code, email ID, phone number.
- General details: Nationality, category, language preference, educational qualifications, preferred exam center, employment status, and other relevant qualifications.
- After submission, note down the generated Registration/Application number. For subsequent logins, use this number along with the selected password.
Step IV: Uploading Scanned Documents
- Uploading scanned photos and signatures is mandatory.
- Upload them in JPG / JPEG format.
- The photo should be sized between 10 to 100 KB, with dimensions of 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
- The signature should be sized between 3 to 30 KB, with dimensions of 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height).
Step V: Payment of Application Fees
- Payment can be made online or offline. Pay the fee through e-challan by depositing the prescribed fee at the CTET exam fee account in the bank.
- Alternatively, pay online using Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking
