Day Two: Learning and Growing

The second day started with a good breakfast, followed by some eye-opening talks by a venture capitalist and the founder of Collegedekho.com. They gave us some serious insight into starting a business. Then came the second judging round. We laid out our detailed business plan, talking about what our startup could do. After that, we got to hear from Ashneer Grover, the big boss behind BharatPe, PostPe, and Grofers. His talk was fun and full of good advice.

Even though we didn’t make it to the final round, we left feeling like winners. It wasn’t about winning or losing, but about all the cool stuff we learned and the fun we had together. I’d say to anyone: jump at chances like this. They’re a great way to learn and grow. It will help you enhance your knowledge, improve your skills and most importantly the confidence to present your idea.

Galgotias University Fest Experience (E-cell Ideation Event)

Back in my second semester, it three of my buddies eagerly jumped into our first ideation event hosted by the E-cell at Galgotias University. This exciting two-day hackathon aimed to spark our entrepreneurial spirit by throwing challenges our way in different areas like health, finance, and the environment. Our task was simple: spot a problem in any of these areas and come up with a solution that not only fixes it but also has the potential to become a successful business. My idea? Using wind energy from fast-moving cars on highways to create electricity.
