The set of all-natural numbers and zero is referred to as whole numbers.

W = {0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,…} 

The set of all positive integers is referred to as natural numbers. 

N = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5,…} 

Counting starts from 0, i.e., 0 is the smallest whole number.  Counting starts from 1, i.e., 1 is the smallest natural number. 
All whole numbers except 0 are natural numbers.  All natural numbers are whole numbers.

A number system refers to a system that represents numbers, where a number is defined as the mathematical value that helps to count, measure, or label and perform various mathematical calculations.
