Dwayne Johnson was already a superstar in his wrestling career and changed his career all of sudden, from wrestling to acting. However, this could have been a tragic decision but sometimes, things happen for good. He became one of the highest-paid actors during his career and one of the most successful ones too. The superstar began his acting career in television in 1999 on the show Thar 70s Show called “That Wrestling Show”. In the show, he portrayed the role of his own father. Dwayne Johnson began his career on the big screen with the movie Mummy Returns [2001]. He then acted in movies like The Scorpion King[2002], Walking Tall[2004], and a supporting role in Be Cool[2005] and Doom[2005]. His first huge box office success movie was Fast Five in 2011. The movie was the seventh highest-grossing film of 2011. His roles in Fast and Furious[2013], Pain and Gain[2013], and Empire State[2013] were highly appreciated. The same year he also hosted and produced the TNT reality show The Hero. In December 2013, Forbes named him the top-grossing actor of 2013. In 2013 his films collected $1.3 billion worldwide.

The success of Fast and Furious 6 made him the top star on the list whereas the film collected $789 million worldwide. Then in 2014, he performed in the movies Hercules and in 2015 in the movie Furious 7. He then hosted another reality show in 2014 called Wake Up Call. The actor also starred in an action-comedy movie called Central Intelligence and gave voice to the lead character of the Disney animated film Moana.

In 2017 he gained reprised his role in the movie The Fate of the Furious. In the same year, he gave two blockbuster movies Baywatch and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. He also starred in the action films Rampage[2018] and Skyscraper[2018] and did not see any failures coming his way, hence becoming one of the favorite actors who is loved by all.
