Eclipse in astronomy, complete or fractional darkening of a celestial body by another. A eclipse happens when three heavenly items become aligned. According to the viewpoint of an individual on the planet, the Sun is overshadowed when the Moon interferes with it and Earth, and the Moon is eclipsed when it moves into the shadow of Earth cast by the Sun. At the point when the apparent size of the overshadowed body is a lot more small than that of the eclipsing body, the phenomenon is known as an occultation . On earth we can observe namely two eclipses that is solar and lunar eclipse.
