Buccal area of the mouth is the space between each cheek and the facial muscle in body. The buccal area of the mouth consists of the the buccal fat pad, the parotid duct, the transverse facial artery and vein and, the anterior facial artery and vein.

Oral cavity is used to denote everything inside the mouth whereas buccal cavity is used to describe the space between the cheeks.
