How Many Hours to Study in Class 11 for IIT JEE?
Class 11 students interested in appearing for IIT JEE must know all the details about the exam before starting their preparation. IIT JEE has one of the highest competition levels in the world. In IIT JEE Main 2022, 10,26,799 candidates appeared, where only a total of 16,598 seats were available at 23 IITs. For IIT JEE preparation, two factors are very crucial; how early you are starting your preparation and how many hours a day you study.
If you are in Class 11, that means you will have sufficient time to prepare for the IIT JEE, because as per the eligibility criteria, you must complete your Class 12th to appear for the exam. Class 11 students interested in IIT JEE can start their preparation by studying for 3 to 4 hours a day. While making your study plan, make sure to divide it equally into all sections. When you are studying a particular subject or topic, try to stick to it and do not move to another one or try not to multitask.

Experts suggest that Class 11th and 12th students begin their IIT JEE preparation at least 6 months before the exam date. There is only one month left for the IIT JEE 2024 Session 1, which will be conducted from 24th January to 1st February 2024 by NTA. Every year, the IIT JEE exams get tougher than the previous one. the IIT JEE 2022 difficulty level was moderate and in 2023, the difficulty level was moderate to tough. The only way to crack IIT JEE is to consistently study the entire syllabus, solving mocks, sample papers and previous year’s papers and keeping yourself updated with the latest exam updates.
