How to Activate a Beacon in Minecraft
When You place your Beacon on the top-center of the Pyramid, it will light up. However, you will not gain any status effect straight away. There is one more step that you need to complete first.
Step 1: Put the Beacon in the middle of the top layer of your base. It will shine light to help you find your way when you explore.
Step 2: Activate the Beacon, and a menu will appear. From there, select a status boost (with an additional bonus if your base has four layers). As your base expands, more options become available.
- Level 1: Speed, Haste
- Level 2: Resistance, Jump Boost
- Level 3: Strength
- Level 4: Regeneration or double another Bonus
Step 3: Drop one of these blocks into the empty box: Netherite Ingot, Emerald, Diamond, Gold Ingot, or Iron Ingot. Then, click the checkmark to activate your Beacon.
