How to Challenge JEE Main Answer Key?

Candidates who believe the NTA JEE Main 2024 Provisional Answer Key contains errors can raise objections. For raising such objections, candidates must note the question ID and answer provided through the answer key of JEE Main along with the correct answer and apply through the link provided. Follow the below-mentioned steps to challenge the JEE Main 2024 Answer key:

Step 1: Download the Answer Key

• Go to the official NTA website: https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/
• Download the JEE Main 2024 Provisional Answer Key.

Step 2: Identify Incorrect Answers

• Review the answer key and identify any questions where you believe the answer is incorrect.
• Note the question ID and the answer provided in the key.
• Determine the correct answer and be prepared to support your claim with evidence.

Step 3: Access the Objection Portal

• Click on the link to “Challenges regarding answer key” on the NTA website.
• Log in using your JEE Main application number and password.

Step 4: Select the Question(s) for Objection

• Locate the question IDs for the answers you are challenging.
• Select one or more question IDs.

Step 5: Submit Your Claim

• Click on “Save your claim” and then “Next.”
• Review the list of question IDs you have challenged.

Step 6: Upload Supporting Documents

• Provide any documents you have to support your claim that the answer is incorrect.
• Upload these documents in PDF format.

Step 7: Pay the Processing Fee

• Pay a processing fee of Rs. 200 for each question you are challenging.
• Payment can be made through credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Step 8: Submit Your Objection

• Once you have uploaded your documents and paid the processing fee, click “Submit Objection.”

You must keep the following factors in mind before challenging JEE Main Answer Key:

• You can only raise objections against the provisional answer key.
• The processing fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether your objection is successful.
• The final decision on the correctness of the answer rests with the NTA.
