How to Find an Ancient City in Minecraft Bedrock Edition
For a new world:
- Launch game <Select Play.
- Select Create New<to create a new world.
- On game settings< Scroll down to the Cheats section.
- Turn on the toggle on Activate Cheats.
- Once ready, click Create.
For already created world:
- Press the Esc key < Start/Options button or Pause icon.
- Select settings in the Game settings menu< Scroll down to the Cheats section.
- Turn the activate cheats toggle on< Resume game.
Use Locate Command to Get to Ancient City
If Search and Mine does not help you find an ancient city in Minecraft, then the “commands option” can also be used to find them. To be able to use the commands, the cheats need to be enabled. To enable cheat, enter the following command:
/locate structure minecraft: ancient_city
This command will provide the player with coordinates for the Ancient City, and a separate teleportation code will directly take the player to the ancient city.
