How To Make a Goodbye Channel on Discord

Step 1: Open the Discord App

To open a Discord app on your desktop, navigate to the Discord app and give a click.

Step 2: Create Channel

In order to make a goodbye channel in discord you need to create a channel if you don’t have, to do so open Discord app and click on the “+” icon located next to the “Text Channels” heading.

Step 3: Select “Text Channel”, Give Channel Name and Click on “Create Channel”

Now a small window will appear asking you the details of the channel, so first select the channel type to “Text” and enter the name of your channel in the box asking for your channel name. When you are done with entering the details of the channel just click on the “Create Channel” button.

Step 4: Right-click on Channel and Select “Edit Channel”

After creating your channel perform a right-click on the channel and select “Edit Channel” from the menu.

Step 5: Manage Permissions

Now in the Edit Channel section click on the “Permissions” tab located on the left-side of the interface, then manage the permissions of the channel in such a way that only the users which are going to leave the channel should have the permission to message.

Step 6: Send Goodbye Message

Now whenever any member of the channel leaves then send a Goodbye message in the channel that you have created.
