Here are some of the steps to be followed for saving a story in your phone or archive section:

Step-1: Initially, open your Instagram account by clicking on the profile icon.

Step 2: You must go to the settings, for which, you have to click on the ‘Three Lines’ icon.

Step 3: From the given set of options, click on the ‘Settings and Privacy’ option.

Step-4: On the search bar, type ‘Archiving and Downloading’ and click on the option. Or else, scroll up until you find ‘Archiving and Downloading’ and click on it.

Step 5: You can find various settings there. Select the ‘Save Stories to Gallery’ and ‘Save Stories to Archive’. Close the Instagram.

Now, all the stories that you may upload will directly be saved to your phone gallery and will be archived on Instagram.
